Day 1: Cycling, rafting, and jungle adventure
At 7:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and begin our journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will make a technical stop to use the restrooms and enjoy breakfast. Then, we will ascend to Abra Málaga, a stunning mountain pass at 4,316 meters above sea level, before starting an exhilarating downhill bike ride lasting approximately 3 hours.
After the cycling experience, we will take our transport to Santa María, where we will enjoy a local lunch. In the afternoon, we will embark on an exciting rafting adventure on the Vilcanota River, navigating rapids of class 2, 3, and 3+ for about 3 hours. After this adrenaline-filled activity, we will return for dinner and spend the night in a warm jungle climate.
Day 2: Inca Trail hike and thermal baths
We will wake up at 7:00 AM for breakfast, then take transport to the starting point of our Huancarccasa Inca Trail hike, which lasts approximately 3 hours. Along the way, we will pass through lush plantations of coffee, coca, corn, cacao, bananas, pineapples, mangoes, and more.
After the hike, we will take transport to Santa Teresa, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Cocalmayo thermal medicinal baths, spending time relaxing in the warm waters while admiring the stunning jungle scenery and the Vilcanota River. After this rejuvenating experience, we will return to Santa Teresa, where we will have dinner, enjoy a free evening, and gather around a bonfire.
Day 3: Zipline adventure and trek to Aguas Calientes
We will wake up at 8:00 AM for breakfast, then prepare for an exciting zipline adventure in the lush jungle mountains. This thrilling activity lasts approximately 3 hours, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
After the zipline experience, we will take transport to Hidroelectrica, where we will have lunch before embarking on a scenic trek to Aguas Calientes. This beautiful trail winds around Machu Picchu, providing incredible views of the ancient citadel. Upon arrival, we will settle into our lodging, enjoy dinner, and receive important instructions for our visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 4: Machu Picchu exploration and return to Cusco
After breakfast, we will head to the bus station for our visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will spend approximately 3 hours exploring its wonders. We will learn about the magic, culture, and religion of the ancient Incas, immersing ourselves in the rich history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
After the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes, then take the train and bus back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 7:30 PM aprox.
