Cocalmayo Tour 2D/1N

Day 1: Exploration, relaxation, and thermal baths

At 7:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin our journey to Santa Teresa. Along the way, we will pass through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoying spectacular landscapes. Then, we will cross the Abra Málaga, a majestic snow-capped mountain that marks the transition between the Andes and the jungle. As we descend into the La Convención Valley, we will pass through Santa María, from where we will continue for 40 minutes until reaching the district of Santa Teresa. The estimated arrival time will be between 12:30 and 1:00 PM.

Upon arrival, we will settle into our “Santa Teresa” lodging, where we can rest briefly before enjoying a local lunch at our restaurant, featuring traditional flavors of the region. In the afternoon, we will head to the Cocalmayo thermal medicinal baths, where we will spend approximately 3 hours soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters. From the Cocalmayo pools, we will enjoy an impressive view of the surrounding mountains and landscapes along the Vilcanota River, offering a truly relaxing experience.

After this rejuvenating experience, we will return to our lodging, where a well-deserved dinner awaits us before resting after a day full of adventure and connection with nature.

Day 2: Coffee, adrenaline, and return to Cusco

We will wake up early at 7:00 AM to enjoy a delicious breakfast before starting our first activity of the day: the coffee experience. During this session, we will learn about the fascinating coffee-making process, from seed to cup, discovering the different stages it goes through before becoming part of our classic breakfasts. Additionally, we will explore various important coffee plant varieties for local farmers. This activity will last approximately 1 hour.

For those seeking adrenaline and excitement, we will offer the zipline or canopy experience, where you can glide along high-altitude cables and enjoy spectacular views. This adventure activity will last approximately 3 hours.

After these unforgettable experiences, we will head to our lunch, perfect for recharging energy before starting our return trip to Cusco. We will depart in the afternoon, with an estimated arrival in the city around 8:00 PM, concluding two incredible days filled with nature, culture, and adventure.
